In early 2009 the fashion label Lolli Popitt was born in New York City. Lolli Popitt borrows vintage clothing & trends of the 20's-80's & modernizes them into 'Resurrected Vintage Couture,' furthermore creating a theatrical & costumesque collection. The self-taught designers; Aurora & Amanda Elle, pay a lot of attention to the magic of childhood dress-up. With the idea that all girls have a desire to dress up at every age, Lolli Popitt creates such an outlet in the realm of high fashion and sophistication. They also draw inspiration from porcelain dolls & cherished fables. Through Lolli Popitt couture, girls can reenact the fairy-tales of their imaginations in everyday life.

Some signature Lolli Popitt attributes are whimsical ribbons, flowers and bows.. feather hairpieces or ‘Crowns’, 'Dorothy Heels' (high heels drenched in glitter with bows), the ‘Jane Collection’ (Jewelry made solely of ribbon) and 'Cupcake Dresses,' which consist of poufy fairy-tale skirts (Created using several layers of either tulle or fanciful fabrics).
